Job Description

Desired Experience:
- Prior work in Marine Technology / Sub-sea / Underwater Systems
- Hands-on project design, ready for full-scale Program Management involving the Mechanical Engineering of custom solutions
- Lean or Six-Sigma experience desired, not required, but experience in a Manufacturing environment a key.
- Select design and modeling tools, including virtual modeling, configuration management, SolidWorks, SolidWorks vaulting, interaction with Manufacturing, design for manufacturing, design to cost, design reviews, documentation control, vendor and parts data management systems, and ERP systems.
- Work with Software, Systems Engineer and Manufacturing
- BSME or advanced Mechanical Engineering degree, Naval Architecture, or Marine Engineering (e.g., MechE and NavalArch).
- Desired experience working with undersea systems, including pressure vessels, encapsulation of electronics, seals, wet cabling, PBOF systems, corrosion control and marine materials, structural design, weight and hydrostatics, hydrodynamics, and marine materials.
- US Citizen with ability to hold Secret Clearance
