Bourbon Takes Delivery of HD ROV Pair
03/02/2010
Bourbon Subsea Services and Schilling Robotics have developed a new generation of ROVs for the Inspection, Maintenance and Repair of offshore fields. The HD ROV is a robot "Work Class" type, designed to be compact and energy efficient, equaling the largest ROVs by carrying up to 250 kilos of equipment in operation. Its design is suited to handling loads up to 3000 kilos at 3000m deep. By taking delivery of two HD ROVs in the second half of the year, Bourbon Subsea Services will expand the range of services in its fleet.
