Demo Video of Quickcure Molding System

PDM Neptec has produced a web video of the new compact version of its Quickcure Moulding System (QMS) which demonstrates the system’s convenience and ease of use. Competitively priced and more portable than the four-slot QMS first produced in 1997, the Compact QMS comprises a single slot custom made mould heating block, Quickcure heater and temperature probe. Sachet based twin pack Elastomers are available for use in custom made moulds which are supplied with a Peg Spanner and Mould Drift for de-moulding.
The Compact QMS heats up to the required temperature in 10 minutes, and achieves uniform heat distribution within the mould for good quality results. It is suitable for any cable installation up to 12mm in diameter, which is awkward or costly to remove for maintenance and repair. Quick and easy to use, the Compact QMS is ideal for preventing expensive downtime.
