Cable-Free ZLand System

FairfieldNodal announced an enhanced ZLand nodal system, the latest addition to the company’s cable-free seismic acquisition lineup. According to the company, these nodes feature longer recording times and the ability to add external sensors.
The new ZLand nodes are available in one- and three-component versions. Both models allow data downloads in half the previous time and extend recording time to 36 days or more. The one-component node is smaller and even lighter weight than the original ZLand node.
“By eliminating cables altogether, and all the associated troubleshooting, our original ZLand system revolutionized seismic land acquisition,” said Keith Matthews, FairfieldNodal’s Systems Division Sales Director. “This next generation ZLand system makes another giant leap in cable-free technology, answering the call for clients who sometimes need multi-component or special arrays.”
