WHOI Buys Another SeaBat 7125 System
02/04/2010
The National Deep Submergence Facility (NDSF) at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI) recently purchased a new SeaBat 7125-SV-ROV system to be integrated into the Jason ROV. This is the third RESON SeaBat 7125 system that WHOI has purchased -- the first two installed on the AUV Sentry and HOV Alvin. These 6000m depth rated systems provide the NDSF fleet of deep-sea exploration vehicles with ultra high-resolution bathymetric survey capabilities.
